Project Cleaner Revit issue with View Filters
the issue is
actually a Revit bug where there are two “View Filters” with the same name.
However, in Revit you only see one of them, but in the backend of the file there
are two. To see the other one, you need to Rename the view filter to be
something different. After you rename, the other one will show up on the list as
the original name.
So, to resolve
for now, the user will have to try to rename each view filter to see if a double
is made. If a double is made, they just need to delete one of them. If a double
is not made, that filter didn’t have an issue.
Again, we are
not sure what caused this and Autodesk is not able to reproduce the
issue.
The next
release of the BIM Manager Suite will help with this by no getting the error.
Instead it will allow View filters to have more then one with the same name.
Then the users can continue to use it and it will help delete the duplicate
one.
